All American is a popular sports drama that debuted on The C.W. on October 10, 2018. The series is based and inspired by the life of professional American football player Spencer Paysinger. The show is currently airing its fourth installment, scheduled to conclude on May 23, 2022.
Spencer Paysinger is a well-known personality. He is a former American football linebacker who the New York Giants previously signed as an undrafted free agent in 2011. His career continued until 2017, and in 2018 he became a co-producer and actor in a television series.
The official synopsis of the series reads, “When a rising high school American football player from South L.A. is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High, the wins, losses and struggles of two families from vastly different worlds—Crenshaw and Beverly Hills—begin to collide. Inspired by the life of pro football player Spencer Paysinger.”
The show’s lead actors include Daniel Ezra, Bre-Z, Greta Onieogou, Samantha Logan, Michael Evans Behling, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monét Mazur, and Taye Diggs, Jalyn Hall, Chelsea Tavares, and Hunter Clowdus.
The show made its appearance on Netflix shortly after each season ended and has done remarkably well on the Netflix top 10s since they were introduced in February 2020. Unfortunately for fans, season 3 took a while to hit the OTT platform, which has made fans anxious about the ongoing season 4.
Season 4 began airing its episodes on October 25, 2021. The latest episode released was on April 18, 2022, and the upcoming episode is scheduled to hit the screens on April 25, 2022. It is titled “Labels.” It is directed by James Lafferty and written by Mike Herro & David Strauss.
Netflix hasn’t released the official release date yet, but we can expect to binge-watch the season in late May 2022 or early June 2022. For further updates, stay tuned.
