Andrew Garfield has been part of headlines since his amazing cameo along with Toby McGuire in the recent Spider-Man franchise, Spider-Man: No Way Home. The actor has been part of everyone’s conversation regarding how spectacularly he made his fans believe that he won’t be part of the film.

Garfield has disclosed that lying about his role while maintaining a straight face had been quite hard as he often had conflicts with himself regarding the whole ‘keep secrets’ things.

The rumors regarding this iconic trio had been going on since long before the actual release of the movie. He had been lying about his involvement for a long time. He revealed during an interview that found this “stressful but also weirdly enjoyable”.

Fans all over the world are going through a phase where they are reevaluating their opinions about him as Peter Parker. Suddenly, the actor had become a sensation on Twitter. He has become the most favorite Spider-Man according to various surveys and has been enjoying his popularity.

He is seen recently spotted in an interview with Joshua Horowitz for Happy Sad Confused podcast, that he not only fooled his fans but also had to keep his involvement a secret from his ex-girlfriend Emma Stone, who played his love interest ‘Gwen Stacy’ in both 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Yes! He even had to lie to her. The adorable duo had been part of a hilarious banter over the actor’s role in Spider-Man: No Way Home. During his interview, he opened up about how his former co-star was also quite curious after listening to all the rumors and how he had to continue playing the fool regarding the whole thing.

He shared, “Emma kept on texting me, “She was like, ‘Are you in this new Spider-Man film?’ And I was like, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about!’ She was like, ‘Shut up, just tell me.'”

He further explained that when she saw the truth, it was a hilarious confrontation. He said, “And like, I honestly‚Ķ I kept it going, even with her, it’s hilarious,” Garfield continued. “And then she saw it and was like, ‘You’re a jerk!'”

Even after years apart, the beautiful chemistry between the actors still makes their fans hope for them to get together. But among all this, one thing was clear, Andrew Garfield does know how to fool the media.
