Isabella Khair Hadid is an American supermodel who has been voted “Model of the Year” by industry professionals for Models.com. Hadid began her modeling career when she was merely sixteen. Hadid made her debut in New York Fashion Week in September 2014 and her first cover appearance was in Jalouse Magazine which featured on day 27 of LOVE Magazine’s Love Advent Calendar. Since then the model has been at the peak of her career. From doing multiple fashion shows to being the face of many high-end fashion magazines, she has been on the tongues of leading fashion designers.

Recently the news of Hadid joining the list of sober celebrities was made known to the public when she talked about her journey to sobriety to Instyle.

The beginning of her resolution to quit drinking emerged from her work with the non-alcoholic beverage brand Kin Euphorics. According to the sources, Hadid tried Kin for the very first time in 2019 when she had been going through a difficult time and had been suffering from anxiety and was feeling the after-effects of her grueling work schedule along with the side effects of her Lyme disease. After talking to her doctor and finding out all the troubles alcohol is causing in her brain, Bella found it “a lot harder to pick up the glass.”

She disclosed, “I have done my fair share of drinking. I loved alcohol and it got to the point where even I started to, you know, cancel nights out that I felt like I wouldn’t be able to control myself, I don’t feel the need [to drink alcohol] because I know how it will affect me at 3 in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school, There’s just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn’t do much, you know?”

Bella gave up drinking six months ago and she doesn’t seem to miss drinking from her revelations.

On previous occasions, the 25-year-old had also admitted suffering from “excruciating” pain during “depressive episodes”. She had shared with her 48 million fans some selfies in which she had been going through a very emotional process. One of them included tears running down her face.

We are glad that the model has found a safe path where she will get a chance to live a life that wants and we hope that her decision will bring her the happiness that she truly deserves.
