On January 3, an Official Statement by Big Hit Music confirmed the singer’s full recovery.

The singer was tested positive in South Korea after returning from U.S. concerts. He was double vaccinated and did not show any symptoms. The band performed their first in-person concert since the Covid-19 pandemic in November. They also performed a crosswalk concert on the Late Late Show with James Corden.

Official statement from the Music Management Company says, “Hello, this is Big Hit Music. We want to inform you that BTS member SUGA has made a full recovery from COVID-19, and his quarantine has concluded as of today(January 3) at noon.

Suga, who had been receiving treatment from home for the past ten days from Friday, December 24, can now return to his daily activities.

Suga did not exhibit any particular symptoms during his quarantine and is recuperating while resting at home. We want to thank all fans who have shown concern for the artist’s health, as well as those in the medical field who are doing their best to overcome COVID-19.

We will continue to place the artists’ health as our top priority and vigilantly follow health care guidelines. Thank You.”

Suga also shared a post on Weverse, giving fans updates about his health. Reacting to his post fans, dropped messages on Weverse, one person wrote “Yes finally” “love you so much, Min. Please always be safe. Another said, “Yay, that’s great.” Another wrote, “Welcome back, my love.” And many more commented heart-warming messages.

Two more members of the band RM and Jin also tested positive. They are double vaccinated. RM didn’t show any symptoms, while Jin is experiencing mild flu-like symptoms. Like Suga, both the other singers are also in their extended rests. Fans are praying for their fast recovery.
