The finale of the South Korean television series, A Business Proposal, is already here, and fans are wondering if there will be a second season of the famous drama series.
Written by Han Sul-hee and Hong Bo-hee, the drama is based on the webtoon of the same title by HaeHwa. It features Ahn Hyo-stop, Kim Se-Jeong, Kim Min-kyu, and Seol In-ah as the core cast of the series.
Park Sun-ho served as the director of the show. It premiered on SBS TV on February 28, 2022, airing every Monday and Tuesday.
The show is also available on Netflix in selected regions.
The drama follows the story of Shin Ha-ri (Kim Se-Jeong), who goes on a blind date in replying to her best friend, Jin Young-SEO (Seol In-ah), whose father had arranged the blind date. As Jin Young didn’t want to go, she paid Ha-ri to go to her place instead of getting rejected by the person. When Ha-ri arrives at the dating place, she learns that her blind date is none other than Kang Tae-mu (Ahn Hyo-stop), the company’s president where Ha-ri works, who decides to Marry her right after their first date.
After meeting the honest Jin Young, when Ha-ri’s fake identity is exposed, Tae-mu asks Young-SEO to call Ha-ri to meet him immediately, in turn asking her for her real name. In fear of losing her job, Ha-ri lies again; Kang Tae-Mu asks her to meet his Grandfather as his Date, so he doesn’t have to go on blind dates his Grandfather arranges for him.
The series consists of twelve episodes, and eleven are already out; the final episode will be released on April 5, 2022.
The series received positive responses from critics, and the viewers loved the show.
As the series finale is already here, fans are curious to know if there will be a second season. But it’s too soon to say if the series will get season 2. Netflix and the show’s creator haven’t said anything regarding the renewal status of the show.
