A reaction to hearing the word Aladdin is to envision the Walt Disney Company’s iconic portrayal of the Arabian prince on a magic carpet.
On the other hand, the character’s origins may be traced back to 16th-century folk stories that have been fulfilled as inspiration for a mixture of writers throughout history.
Some stories implicating the child and his genie have even made their way into manga and anime. The most well-known is the “Magi” film franchise.
The story follows Aladdin as he comes face to face with a genie and travels on a series of incredible adventures related to other versions of the well-known tale. Alibaba and Morgiana, two of his friends who are also based on characters from those ancient tales, seem alongside him in this show’s episode.
An anime TV series based on Shinobu Ohtaka’s manga series of a similar name was launched in 2012 and broadcast from 2012 to 2014. Even though “Magi: Adventure of Sinbad” was a spin-off of the program, fans have waited for a chance to see the actual narrative again on the small screen. Seven years is a long time to have to wait for the next season.
