She’s returned, and this time she’s much better than before! Tall Girl 2, the much-awaited (depending on whom you ask) sequel to Netflix’s Tall Girl, was released on February 11th, and fans of the film are already devouring all of the romance, humor, and overall feel-goodness of Tall Girl 2.
Tall Girl debuted on Netflix in September 2019 and starred Ava Michelle as Jodi Kreyman, a girl with unusually tall stature. She is, however, teased because of her height, even though her younger sister Harper (Sabrina Carpenter) is a pageant queen.
Although the majority of those who saw (or unfairly assessed the film based on the trailer) panned it, it’s one of Netflix’s most adorable romantic comedies and a very nice option for your Galentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day Netflix marathons.
Most fans will be wondering if Tall Girl 2 will follow in the footsteps of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Kissing Booth and generate a trilogy after seeing the film. Is there going to be a Tall Girl 3?
Is another Tall Girl movie coming?
Another sequel does not appear to be in the works as of February 2022; however, the success of Tall Girl 2 determines the future of the film franchise.
Because this film isn’t based on a YA novel and there’s no final finish to draw from, writer Sam Wolfson is free to keep telling Jodi Kreyman’s narrative as long as there’s something significant to examine in her life.
We won’t provide any details about the finale of Tall Girl 2, but the possibility of a third film remains open. Even though Jodi maintained her fight with confidence and fame, her path has not ended yet.
We, for one, would welcome a third film to bring the plot to a conclusion. Like To All the Boys and The Kissing Booth, Tall Girl has been an exciting teen rom-com trilogy to watch over the years.
