Principal filming on Murder Mystery 2 is now underway, which means we might see the sequel as early as 2022!
Murder Mystery 2 is a Netflix film that is set to release in 2019. It is the sequel to the 2019 film Murder Mystery. Due to the popularity of the first film, Netflix has ordered a sequel with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston reprising their roles in October 2019. Since then, fans have been eagerly waiting for more information.
In August 2021, it was revealed that Jeremy Garelick will take over as director from Kyle Newacheck, with James Vanderbilt returning to write the script. The Murder Mystery 2 cast was unveiled in early 2022, which was the finest news for fans. Fans knew that filming would begin shortly or had already begun when the cast was announced.
Although we don’t have a precise start date for filming, we do know that it began in a tropical location in mid-January. So, where will Murder Mystery 2 be filmed?

With on-set images, the Daily Mail announced on Jan. 17 that filming for Murder Mystery 2 was beginning in Oahu, Hawaii. Jennifer Aniston later verified that filming had started by posting a lovely snapshot of herself and Adam Sandler on-site in Hawaii on her Instagram account.
Production is also underway in Paris, France, however, no filming dates have been set. It’s unknown how long the actors and crew will be filming in Hawaii, but according to What’s on Netflix, production in Hawaii was scheduled to end on February 5th. So perhaps some behind-the-scenes photographs of Aniston, Sandler, and the rest of the ensemble in Paris will be released soon.
