Netflix has arrived with the first trailer for its upcoming 2022 original series Young Wallander. The series is named Young Wallander: Killer’s Shadow and is the second series based on Henning Mankell’s best-selling Kurt Wallander novels. It is set to come in February.

Adam Pålsson

Adam Pålsson is a Swedish actor and musician born on March 25, 1988. He plays the lead character of Kurt Wallander – a rookie police officer in present-day Sweden. Pålsson was educated at the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting in Stockholm between 2008 to 2011.

Adam also worked in another TV series before We Die in 2019, where he played a character called Christian.

Yasen Atour

Yasen plays the character of Reza Al-Rahman in the new Netflix series. Yasen Atour is a famous actor in the Hollywood Film Industry. He has also appeared in another Netflix series, The Witcher, in which he stars as Coen.

He is also a famous producer as he has produced eight movies, including TV series.

Leanne Best

Leanne Best will return to Young Wallander as her character Frida Rask. The actress has appeared in many famous scripts such as Doctors, New Tricks Line of Duty, and Black Mirror.

She was also seen in movies such as The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Ellise Chappell

Ellise Chappell will see the show and play her character – Mona. The actress featured in The Last Dragonslayer as Jennifer Strange in 2016. She also appeared in Poldark as Morwenna Carne between 2017-2019.

Tomiwa Edun

He is famous for playing the voice of Alex Hunter in FIFA 17, FIFA18, and FIFA 19. He has also appeared in What Happened to Monday and will join the cast of Young Wallander in season two.

He is nicely-known for his role as Sir Elyan in the television show Merlin, Young Wallander will return on February 17. 2022, The season will return to Netflix for its second season with some new faces meeting the cast.
