The Night Agent, a new action drama series, will star Gabriel Basso as an FBI agent stationed in the White House basement whose only duty is to answer an emergency line that has gone unanswered until now. The call sets off a chain of events that could potentially harm the Oval Office and those occupying it, and all hell breaks loose. The Night Agent will be available on Netflix on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, so mark your calendar and free up some time. On February 8, 2023, the teaser trailer for The Night Agent was released.
In The Night Agent, an FBI agent has the unfortunate experience of working in a low-level capacity in one of the nation’s most heavily fortified facilities. His task is straightforward: maintaining a phone line for covert operatives in the White House basement. The only problem is that it never rings. His life abruptly transforms overnight when the phone rings, setting off a series of hazardous circumstances and exposing a deadly conspiracy hidden beneath the Oval Office. At this point, he is questioning his life decisions. The best-seller book of the same name by Matthew Quirk is the basis for the television series. Shawn Ryan, the author, began reading the book at the start of quarantine in 2020 and eventually grew to love it.
