By March 2022, the chapters of Kore Yamazaki’s manga The Ancient Magus’ Bride had been compiled into 17 volumes. Yamazaki wrote and illustrated the manga. From November 2013, it started to be serialized in Monthly Comic Blade by Mag Garden. After September 2014, when Comic Blade magazine ceased publication, it was moved to Monthly Comic Garden. The second season two trailer for the anime The Ancient Magus’ Bride was released on February 9, 2023. Along with the second opening theme song, the anime trailer reveals additional cast members for season two.

Crunchyroll will handle all international streaming outside of Asia, while Hikari TV and Amazon Prime Video will run the series’ Japanese streaming, making it available to viewers worldwide.
