Netflix has announced that the well-liked mystery series Outer Banks will return for Season 4 just before the start of its third season on February 23, 2023. At the Poguelandia music festival on the Outer Banks, the news was made in Huntington Beach, California. Shannon Burke, Josh Pate, and Jonas Pate served as executive producers and co-showrunners on Outer Banks, respectively. They thank Netflix and the viewers for helping the programme become such a huge success during the Season 4 reveal. Outer Banks has been a big success for the streaming service since its introduction in April 2020. It has earned the hearts of millions of fans, as seen with the aforementioned Poguelandia fandom. The show held the #1 spot globally in Netflix’s Top 10 English TV list for the four weeks following its Season 2 launch on July 30, 2021, and in the Top 10 for six weeks; it reached the Top 10 in 74 countries.
We’re probably looking at a release sometime in 2024 before Netflix officially announces the release date for Outer Banks season 4. Due to the early renewal of the series, filming may begin soon, with a potential release date of early to mid-2024. Outer Banks season 4 could be released in 2024 if the speculation that filming would begin in May 2023 proves true. The biggest production this year is the kicker; if it finishes up by year’s end, there’s a fair chance Outer Banks season 4 will air in the spring, summer, or fall of 2024. We also know that Wednesday, season 2 and Stranger Things, season 5, and season 2 will likely arrive sometime in 2024. We have to anticipate Netflix will stagger out some of its bigger teen shows, like Ginny and Georgi.
