The 26-year-old supermodel Gigi Hadid is going to co-host the second season of Netflix’s Next in Fashion along with Queer Eye’s Tan France, which was previously hosted by Tan and Alexa Chung.
On the 31st of January, The model verified the news on her Instagram account as she posted a photo with Tan France. This will mark Hadid’s debut as a host for a show.
Sharing the post Gigi wrote, “Who would have thought when we met over Facetime 4 years ago (thanks @evachen212) that we’d be hosting NEXT IN FASHION TOGETHER! You read that right!”
Tan France also took to his Instagram story and wrote, “Can’t wait to work with my love” and tagged Gigi.
The official Instagram page of “Next In Fashion” also announced the news of Gigi and Tan co-hosting the show together. They wrote, “SOME NEWS: these two besties are hosting Next In Fashion Season 2!'”
The first season of the show premiered on Netflix in January 2020 and starred France alongside Alexa Chung. Fashion tycoons like Tommy Hilfiger, Phillip Lim, and Eva Chen appeared as guest judges on the show.
The second season comes as a surprise to the viewers as Netflix canceled the series in 2020. Previously, in a conversation with Variety, Tan France claimed “We will not be doing a second season. This is a one-season show, we don’t know what will happen in the future.”
