Jenna Ortega will serve as the show’s host the following month. According to NBC, Ortega will make her hosting debut on the sketch comedy program on the episode airing on March 11 when she is joined by musical guest 1975, marking the pop group’s second appearance. Ortega tweeted the news after the announcement with the phrase, “See you then.”Â
The Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, who will be hosting for the first time, will also be there before Ortega and 1975, along with musical performer and fellow first-timer Kelsea Ballerini. On March 4, that episode will be live-streamed. Since this will be Harrelson’s fifth time hosting the program, viewers can expect to see him officially inducted into the exclusive Five-Timers Club, which also includes numerous other well-known celebrities like Paul Rudd, Tom Hanks, Tina Fey, Scarlett Johansson, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, and Drew Barrymore. The program will premiere on February 25. When Champions opens in theatres on March 10, Harrelson will promote the movie. In the inspirational sports movie Champions, Harrelson plays a disgraced former coach of a minor league basketball team who, as a requirement for his community service, is given the job of leading a group of people with intellectual disabilities in advance of the Special Olympics.
In addition to her numerous roles on the big screen, Ortega also appeared in the fifth instalment of the Scream franchise last year. In Scream VI, which will launch in theatres on March 10, she will return to reprise her part. Ortega made additional appearances in the genre movies X and Studio 666 last year. She also played a significant role in the second season of the Netflix series You, but due to her obligations to Wednesday, she could not return for that show’s third season.
