Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández’s eponymous graphic novel is the basis for The Old Guard. Andromache of Scythia, better known by his stage name “Andy,” is played by Charlize Theron. In the adaptation, she tries to save and protect Nile Freeman, a U.S. Marine killed in action but returned to life. They can identify Nile and instruct her about their mission because The Old Guard can communicate with peers through dreams.
