HBO has announced the release date of Kaley Cuoco-led blockbuster sit-com season 2 for April. Based on the book of the same name written by Chris Bohjalian, the show first premiered in November 2020. The show has been an instant success, it received five Emmy nominations.
Showrunner Steve Yockey developed that show, which follows Cassie, played by Cuoco, a sexually voracious flight attendant who struggles with alcohol. One night, the adventures end in trouble when she wakes up to a dead man with whom she had drunk-slept. As the investigation begins, she starts to experience flashbacks that might be a hallucination.
The release announcement came with a teaser, Flight Attendant season 2 will air on HBO Max on April 21.
In season 2, Cassie has been sober for almost a year now, and she is handling the duty of both a Flight attendant and a CIA asset; things might go vague when she is met with another murder. The cast joining Cuoco will be.
Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, Joseph Julian Soria, While other cast members like Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, Michelle Gomez, Collin Woodell, T.R. Knight, Merle Dandrige, Nolan Gerard Funk, Griffin Matthews, and Girl’s Zosia Mamet will be reprising their roles.
The show’s official logline reads, “Cassie Bowden is living her best sober life in Los Angeles while moonlighting as a CIA asset in her spare time. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue. The season filmed in Los Angeles, Berline and Reykjavik.”
