The launch of this beautifully breath-taking ‘In/Spectre Anime Season 2’ anime debuted on Tokyo MX on January 8th. The teaser is jam-packed with fascinating moments that highlight the new cast members. You’ll hear the amazing Aoi Yuuki, who voices Yuuki Onna, and Makoto Furukawa, who expertly portrays the voice of Masayuki Muroi.

However, fans of the original series won’t need to worry since Akari Kitou and Mamoru Miyano, who played Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurou Sakuragawa in the series, will be making a brilliant comeback.

The magical mystery romance is described in the manga’s English translation, which Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing:

Kotoko was captured by yokai when she was only a young girl. These spirits transformed her into a strong bridge between the spirit and human realms, but this ability came at a cost: an eye and a leg. Years later, she still keeps an eye out for yokai, which may be dangerous, while also falling for Kuro, an exceptional young guy because he has healing abilities. When Kotoko asks him to work with her to deal with renegade yokai, maintaining the fine line between the supernatural and the real world, he is surprised.

With the introduction of the lovable characters Yuki-Onna and Muroi, the eagerly awaited Yuki-onna arc will eventually take the spotlight. And while the three PVs just hinted at the connection between the two, viewers may expect to see more steamy and passionate interactions between Kuro and Kotoko.

The story unfolds with each episode, showcasing a huge and captivating world. If you’re impatiently awaiting the next episode, Crunchyroll has covered it by streaming the show live so you won’t miss a single. The Kyokou Suiri (In/Spectre) novel series by Kyo Shirodaira is brought to life through the colorful world of animation.
