As 2023 approaches, lists of upcoming TV shows, documentaries, and movies have started to pour in. The documentary BreakPoint, which will soon be released in the tennis world, is included in this fascinating list and has undoubtedly risen to the top of the list of documentaries receiving recognition. After the highly successful Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Netflix is getting ready to launch its newest sporting endeavour, and the team behind the 2019 smash hit is prepared to deliver what sports fans generally wait for.
The documentary will follow the world’s top tennis stars competing in Grand Slams and ATP tournaments against the best players worldwide, including Stefanos Tsitsipas, Iga Sviatek, and Nick Kyrgios, an Australian tennis player known for stirring controversy. Before the documentary’s debut, Netflix, the streaming service hosting its release, uploaded an official trailer that showcases some of the WTA and ATP’s fittest athletes in action. The tennis docuseries was released in two batches, the first batch on January 13, 2023, and the second batch sometime in June 2023. The first batch is streaming now in Netflix.

Review
A particular review about the docuseries deals with the problems that have nothing to do with how quickly you serve or how well you slide on a clay court can be broken down by players like Kyrgios, Paula Badosa, or Maria Sakkari. With many featured spouses and partners, they talk about their support networks, the emotional baggage they’ve carried around from their youth and the effects of personal relationships. Perhaps for this reason, it was found that Break Point’s access and storytelling are better when it’s focused on the real life problems.
