The Fast Saga universe is set to welcome a new member in the cast and its none other than the Aquaman star Jason Momoa for the new installment of the Fast franchise Fast 10.

The official announcement has been made by the Twitter handle of The Fast and Furious on Friday. They wrote “The Fast Fam keeps getting bigger. Welcome, Jason Momoa. #F10.”

The poster tagged in the tweet shows the actor in a black tuxedo and tie at the bottom written F10 in the signature font of the film. His role is not unveiled yet, is he going to be a villain or part of the Torretto family? This remains a question.

The Plot for the movies is not shared yet. The movie is set to hit the theatres on May 19, 2023. The most recent movie of the franchise was released last year grossing over $720 million at the global box. Cast members including Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang are expected to return along with the director Justin Lin. Vin Diesel and Lin are producing the movie.

Talking about Momoa is one of the hardest-working actors in Hollywood. He was seen in the box office smasher Dune and Apple’s Series See, which is set to bow their next season this fall.

Last year John Cena also debuted in the fast universe. He was cast as a villain from and brother of Dom Torretto.

Fast and Furious 10 and 11 are going to the closure movies for the Fast Saga, following the F9. The Fast franchise has always entertained a huge community of fans with their over-the-top car chases and killer mission of rescues. The Fast Saga also emphasizes the importance of the family from their very first movie and hopefully till their last.
