JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, also known as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: The Animation, is a popular Japanese anime television program that focuses on the mysterious adventures of the Joestar family across generations. It is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki.

The series debuted on Tokyo MX before entering syndication on 4 JNN stations, BS11, and Animax. The franchise has five series, including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is the fifth franchise season that made its debut on December 1, 2021. The first part of the series consisted of twelve episodes. These were initially released worldwide as part of an original net animation season on Netflix before its scheduled airing on Japanese television in January 2022.

The Stone Ocean arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga ran from 1999 to 2003 and has 17 volumes, consisting of books 64 through 80 of the overall manga.

The adventure circles around a family whose various members discover they are destined to take down supernatural foes using their powers. The series mentioned above is set in 2011, where we see Jolyne Cujoh sentenced to 15 years in prison after being part of a car accident and being framed for murder. After various obstacles and hurdles, she discovers that a disciple of Dio framed her so that he could kill her in prison, and her father, Jotaro Kujo, urges her to escape.

The second part of the series is scheduled to hit the screens sometime in 2022. An official release date Hasn’t been disclosed yet, but the confirmation of it coming in 2022 is pretty accurate. David Production will be returning to aid the series of upcoming episodes, and Kenichi Suzuki, who will be coming back as the chief director. The episodes are set to be directed under the supervision of Toshiyuki Kato, and Masanori Shino is the character designer.
