The British spy thriller series is returning to screen for its fourth and final season on 28 February 2022.

Killing Even features Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh as the main cast. Killing eve season 3 will air on BBC One; we can also stream the series on BBC iPlayer.

The series follows the story of Eve Polastri (Sandra), a British intelligence investigator, who is assigned to capture a psychopathic assassin, Villanelle (Jodie Comer). While the Cat and mouse chase, Eve develops an obsession with Villanelle.

The series is based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings; each of the show’s series is led by a different female head writer. The first series had Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the head writer, the second series Emerald Fennell, the third series Suzanne Heathcote and the fourth and final series Laura Neal.

The list of the series main cast is pretty long; alongside Sandra Oh And Jodie Comer, the series also features Fiona Shaw, Darren Boyd, Owen McDonnell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, David Haig, Kim Bodnia, Sean Delaney, Nina Sosanya, Edward Bluemel, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Adrian Scarborough, Raj Bajaj, Turlough Convery, Steve Pemberton, Danny Sapani, Harriet Walter, Gemma Whelan, and Camille Cottin.

The first season of the series premiered on 8 April 2018, BBC America and later on BBC iPlayer and BBC three.

For the fourth season, Killing Even had a cast update. Laura Neal will serve as the new showrunner for the finale season. Laura has previously written episodes of Sex Education, My Mad Fat Diary, and Daybreak.

This will be heartbreaking news for the fans that it will be the final season of the series but Jodie Comer had previously given hints to Digital Spy about the possibility of spin-offs and finales.

“I think they’re kind of keeping their options open, like who knows what the future holds,”
Comer said.
