To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, famed actress Lana Condor has finally found the man of her dreams in Anthony De La Torre, an American actor, singer, and guitarist who is popularly known as playing young Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).
This lovely pair took the next step in their relationship on Friday, January 28, 2022. The actress shared this wonderful news with her fans on her Instagram handle where she wrote a beautiful message regarding her engagement along with engagement photographs and videos.
Captioning the good news, Lana wrote, “Saying YES was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. I consider myself the absolute luckiest woman alive to live in your sphere. Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world. Emmy & Timmy said it’s about time mommy & daddy got engaged!!!”
She also shared that Anthony was very considerate while choosing a diamond ring for her. She disclosed that her partner collaborated with a Vietnamese female-owned company to design her stunning ring. She further added, “The fact he knew how important it was to me that he’d collaborate with a Vietnamese company to help design my ring is a testament to just how truly thoughtful he always is.”
This beautiful pair has been together since 2015. Lana shared with Us Weekly that Anthony used a classic pick-up line when he introduced himself for the very first time. She also said that their first meeting was “like a Taylor Swift song”. She concluded with, “There’s no other person in this world I want to spend every day doing nothing with.”
After finding fame through To All The Boys, Lana revealed that her relationship wasn’t quite accepted by her fans. She also said that the couple got a lot of hate on social media. Her words regarding her relationship with Anthony were, “It was so hurtful for both of us. This is supposed to be a good thing. Why are you coming for someone who has no part of this story? If you say you support me, why would you hurt someone I love?”
Despite being paired with her co-star Noah Centineo, Lana and Anthony continued to have a strong and beautiful bond. Lana officially announced her relationship on Instagram in March 2017 by posting a snap of her cozying up to Anthony in New York City. Anthony shared their first picture in the same year. He captioned the post, “When you rock your girls purse better than she does,”
The couple adopted a puppy in January 2019 and since then their bond has been evolving. Fans are quite happy to see the couple so much in love. After her engagement news went viral, many celebrities and their fans gave their wishes.
