We all go through days when we feel completely defeated and utterly alone. Being in this state isn’t something you need to be ashamed of. We all need to learn the meaning of self-love from time to time. In a world that is obsessed with looks, sometimes it’s ok to take a break. It’s completely acceptable to be insecure about your self-image. What’s not ok is to give up!

Even our favorite celebrities, whom we adore and love, have to go through these similar insecurities. No one is born perfect and nobody’s fully satisfied with what we have. We all need something more, something extra just to feel alive. And this beautiful message was once again shared by our very own Betty Cooper.

Lili Reinhart never hesitated in sharing her struggles with her fans. She does her best to make them aware that it is human to have bad days. Even those faced with cameras have to deal with them. Being in the limelight 24/7 makes them self-conscious about their looks and it ends up affecting their mental health.

The 25-year-old beauty shared her ‘bad’ day with her fans through her Instagram handle. She opened up about her inner thoughts and gave her fans a glimpse of her personal life. She shared a heartfelt message saying, “I’ve been struggling with obsessive thoughts about my body/weight the last few months and it’s gotten pretty severe in the last week. So I want to take a moment to be vulnerable and share this in the hope that any of you who are also struggling don’t feel so alone.”

She didn’t stop there. Adding her own experience with her body image, she told us about her struggles. According to US Weekly, Lili had once discussed how Hollywood had changed her perception of herself. She told them, “I didn’t think being in this industry, that is so obsessed with women’s bodies and weights, could ever mess with my body acceptance and positivity … but it has, I wish I hadn’t grown up in a time where the media worshipped only one size of women.”

The Riverdale alum has been known for her bold views when it comes to her mental health. She has shared her struggles with her fans throughout her journey in Hollywood.

She ended her message on a note that made her fans feel her pain. She made us realize that we all are on the same platform. We all are together in this. And we can only overcome these hard times with compassion and sympathy.
She took her to leave with, “I know I’m not alone in this toxic way of thinking about my body. And it’s heartbreaking that this feeling is understood by so many of us. Let’s continue to talk about it. Normalize it. Empathize with others. Show compassion and kindness.”

Lili made us remember that bad days are acceptable and encouraged us to seek help if we need to. It’s not something we should be embarrassed about. Being aware of what our body and mind need is a strength. It helps us in living a life that we truly deserve.
