The past year had been filled with surprises for the Marvel fans, and this year, too, seemed to be on the same path. With back-to-back superhero franchises, Marvel studios have their fans on their toes to anticipate what might be next.
Marvel Studios is not known for its superheroes only, and it is highly popular for its brand of heroes as well. Introducing the fans with the most epic and memorable villains of all time, Marvel Studios has given us Thanos, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, Loki, Magneto, and many more.
Another famous star, Bill Murray, known for his amazing performances in various comedy-centric shows, is rumored to be finalized in the next coming part of The Ant-Man franchise, The Ant-Man, and the Wasp: Quantumania.
The actor will be seen in a whole different genre for the very first time as he is generally seen in cult comedies like Tootsie, Ghostbusters, and Groundhog Day.
According to his previous interview, the actor had accidentally revealed that he might be seen in a negative role, but unfortunately, when asked, later on, he merely replied with,
“I am not at liberty to talk about it.”. Even at that time, the lead actor, Paul Rudd, did not indicate when asked.
Fortunately for the Marvel fans, this ongoing rumor is true as the actor has recently confirmed his role in the upcoming franchise. On The Eli Manning Show, the 71-year-old actor had given a somewhat yes to the question of being cast in the movie.
When Eli Manning asked, “Aren’t you in, like, a superhero movie coming out? Ant-Man?”, the actor took the road of not answering either with yes or no, but opting for, “My power is, I’m a bad guy.”
This confirmed his status on being in the movie. While being asked about his wish to act on these action pact movies, the actor gave insight into his relationship with the director. He told his fans, “so I agreed, although I’m not interested in these huge comic book adaptations as an actor otherwise.”
Even though the actor will not be seen as the primary villain in the movie as that role has already been given to Jonathan Majors, who is scheduled to play ‘Kang the Conqueror,’ Bill Murray’s nature of the role is still a secret. His fans are eagerly waiting to see this loving comedian in a serious role.
