Minx is an upcoming HBO Max original scheduled to hit the screens on March 17, 2022. It is an American comedy streaming television series created and written by Ellen Rapoport.

The show is set in the 1970s and focuses on Joyce, a young feminist from Los Angeles who joins forces with a low-rent publisher to create the first women’s erotic magazine. Rachel Lee Goldenberg directs the first episode.

The season will premiere with two episodes on HBO Max, with the pursuing eight releasing in duos on the streaming outlet every Thursday and concluding with the last two episodes on April 14, 2022. It is a comedy-drama that will depict the labors of a woman who desires to use her endeavor and aptitude as a writer to change the publishing industry of the 1970s.

Leading the cast, we have Ophelia Lovibond, who is well recognized for her role as Carina in Guardians of the Galaxy. Another beauty of the main cast is Jake Johnson, and he is known for the series New Girl, where he played bartender turned author Nick Miller. Other members signed as regulars of season one include Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya.

To gain viewership, HBO Max has also aired a trailer. It portrays that the show tells that feminism is the driving force behind creating the first erotic magazine for women. It also depicts Joyce and Doug forming an unlikely partnership to launch a female-centered magazine in a male-dominated industry. The Minx trailer touches that combating misogyny and political censorship are not the only barriers the characters will have to compete with, showing peeks of complex household dynamics and entanglement with the gang.

It seems like showrunner, Ellen Rapoport, has constructed a fun-filled and wild sequence that mirrors the ever-changing description of feminism. Both Joyce and Doug seem to be on the opposite – and intense sides – of the feminist expanse and will hopefully realize to embrace every element of the all-encompassing motion.

As of yet, there is no official comment on when Minx will arrive in the UK.
