CBS’s top-rated franchise, NCIS, has been entertaining fans since its debut on the network on September 23, 2003. The franchise is created by multiple personalities, including Donald P. Bellisario & Don McGill (NCIS), Shane Brennan (NCIS: LOS ANGELES), and Gary Glasberg (NCIS: NEW ORLEANS), Christopher Silber, Jan Nash & Matt Bosack (NCIS: Hawai’i).
NCIS: Hawai’i made its debut on September 20, 2021, the fourth sequence in the NCIS franchise. As of yet, the show is airing its first season and has recently broadcasted its eighteenth episode on March 28, 2022. It is virtually tied for No. 1 most-watched new drama, is averaging 8.29 million viewers, and is a period winner on Monday at 10 PM.
The show recently concluded its first season on May 23, 2022, and is on its way to beginning its second installment. According to news, CBS’ NCIS: Hawai’i has officially started filming in Oahu with a customary Hawaiian blessing centered around “hana hou,” a Hawaiian term that means “work anew” and “try again.”
The plot revolves around a fictional team of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents who work out of the Pearl Harbor Field Office, led by Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant. The cast includes Kian Talan, Vanessa Lachey, Tori Anderson, Alex Tarrant, Yasmine Al-Bustami, and Noah Mills in its leading roles.
The show’s executive producer, Christopher Silber, recently shared a teaser for the upcoming season with its caption reading, “We’re headed back to the island on September 19 for more action, drama, and above all, more of your favorite #NCISHawaii crew. Are you ready?”
