Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s most popular science fiction television series that debuted on July 15, 2016. Since 2016, the show has aired three seasons that concluded on July 4, 2019.

Stranger Things’ upcoming Season 4 is scheduled to hit the screens in two parts on May 27, 2022, and July 1, 2022, respectively. It will feature nine episodes. Season 4 is also produced by the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson.

This season will focus on the aftermath of the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. The survivors and inhabitants of the town are struggling, and our favorite group of teenagers has been separated for the first time. The episodes will show them navigating through the complexities of high school, which will bring more trouble. Along with this, fans will be introduced to a new and terrifying supernatural threat that will present a gruesome mystery that has the potential of finally putting an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.

The show’s cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, and Brett Gelman.

The nine episodes are expected to be longer as, according to Ross Duffer, the series has taken a long time to be produced. As per their statement, the upcoming season will boast a runtime nearly twice its previous seasons. The number of episodes is similar to that of season 2, in which the episodes ran for roughly 50-55 minutes each. With this kept in mind, viewers can expect double the run time.
