The popular streaming platform -Netflix was down for thousands of users on Friday. Netflix said it was facing issues while streaming on all devices. There were roughly 4,000 reports on the outage-tracking website Downdetector, which collects status reports from a number of sources in the United States. As per the Downdetector, the Netflix outage started roughly at 11.22 pm IST.

However, it was determined by 12.15 am IST for most users. Users all over the globe faced this issue for almost an hour as the website was down.
According to the reports from several users on Downdetector, the Netflix website was showing ‘Error Code NSES-500’ whenever the users attempted to browse content on the streaming platform. The OTT platform was reported to be down across various platforms, including mobile applications as well as on web browsers.

On Thursday, thousands of users of Meta’s Instagram complained about issues with the photo-sharing application. Roughly 24,000 users of Instagram were facing this problem by 5 pm ET. According to the outage-tracking website Downdetector, which collects status reports from a number of sources in the United States. Reports on Downdetector fell over the next couple of hours, and the service seems to be operational.

“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing Instagram. We’re working to get things back to normal and apologise for any inconvenience,” a Meta spokesperson announced in an emailed statement.
