JTBC original, Green Mothers’ Club is an upcoming South Korean television series that focuses on multiple emotions, including friendships, motherly love, and the growth of 5 mothers. It is directed by Ra Ha-na and penned by Shin Yi-won.
The friendship drama is scheduled to hit the screens on JTBC on April 6, 2022, and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 22:30. The show will also be joining the Netflix library on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
The show will run for 16 episodes and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, May 26, 2022. The episodes will be aired over eight weeks until the series finale.
The cast of the show includes Lee Yo-won, who will be playing the role of Lee Eun-Pyo, A highly educated mother from French studies who majored in aesthetics. Choo Ja-Hyun will play Byun Chun-hee, The most powerful mother famous in terms of beauty and information. Kim Gyu-Ri as Seo Jin-ha, a woman, married to a handsome man with an innate elegance and a gifted son. Jang Hye-Jin as Kim Young-mi. Last but not least, we have Joo Min-Kyung as Park Yun-Joo, Lee Eun-Pyo’s cousin.
The five mothers meet at their children’s elementary school, where they enter into a fast and beautiful friendship. The group helps each other deal with being a mother’s everyday troubles and struggles. These women find their connection growing beyond solidarity to become a true friendship through all of life’s troubles with these obstacles.
Along with the leading ladies, the show’s supporting cast includes Yoon Gyung-ho (Park Yun-Joo’s husband and a timid and passive office worker). Choi Deok-moon (Byun Chun-hee’s husband and an anesthesiologist). Im Soo-Hyung (Kim Young-mi’s husband and famous film director). Oh Hee-jun, Park Ye-rin (Yoon-JU’s 8-year-old daughter), and Lee Ji-Hyun (teacher at an elementary school located in Sangsu-dong). For further updates, stay tuned.
