The Scream actress has been in the constant presence of headlines from the success of Scream 4. The actress has reacted to The Weeknd mentioning her name on his latest album Dawn FM on Late Late Show with James Corden.
The Weeknd sings the lyric “I love her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell.” His track called Here We Go Again features Tyler the creator.
As everyone was applauding the success of the re-launch of the Scream Franchise Globally, earlier this week when the actress was asked out the shout-out in Dawn FM on her appearance of the James Corden show.
She said “How crazy is that? It’s pretty crazy.” Later admitting “Well at first, my publicist told me, and she was like The Weeknd, and I was like, Wait which weekend? Last weekend? I had no idea what she was talking about.”
“And then I realized, ‘Oh, the guy who played at the Super Bowl! That guy! Campbell continued. Corden took the stance to pick up on her for not knowing the biggest name in the music industry. He said, “I can only think he’ll be really disappointed if he knows that you described him as the guy from the Super Bowl, given he’s arguably one of the biggest and best-selling artists of his generation.”
To Corden’s comment, Campbell replied in embarrassment “I’m just so bad with pop culture.”
The Scream had a massive opening for a pandemic movie with $35 million. Neve is joined by Courtney Cox, Emma Roberts, Dylan Minnette, and Jenna Ortega. The movie portrays a story of a new killer who dons the Ghostface who targets a group of teenagers to revive the secrets from the dead past of the town.
Well, You have to be as cool as Neve to have such a hilarious reaction to Pop culture.
