Nicki Minaj and the Kardashian-Jenner family have all publicly lamented the terrible loss of their former business manager, Angela “Angie” Kukawski. Authorities believe that her lover murdered her before discovering her body in her vehicle’s trunk.
Kukawski was reported missing on December 22 in the northern Los Angeles neighborhood of Sherman Oaks before police responded to the missing person complaint and discovered the well-loved company manager deceased inside a car parked on a roadway in the Simi Valley region.
Following the announcement, Nicki Minaj paid respect to Kukawski, writing on her Instagram Story, “Hardest working, the most reliable, loveliest person you could ever know.” “Angela, you did not deserve this. My heart aches for your children. Peace be with you, “Minaj said.
The Los Angeles Police Department suspects Kukawski’s boyfriend, 49-year-old Jason Barker Sr., murdered her inside their Sherman Oaks home before putting her corpse in her car and moving it somewhere.
On Wednesday, the Kardashian-Jenner family also published a statement to TMZ, calling Kukawski “absolutely the finest.”
“She cared about every one of us and made impossible things happen,” according to the statement. “She will be deeply missed, and we extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family and loved ones at this difficult time.”
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has filed murder charges against Barker, alleging that he committed the heinous deed “with malice aforethought.”
Barker has been charged with two counts of murder and torture. According to the charges, Barker murdered Kukawski “unlawfully and with the goal to cause cruel and excessive agony and suffering for revenge, extortion, persuasion, and for a sadistic purpose, inflict grave physical harm.”
Barker was arrested and detained on a $3 million bail at the Van Nuys Jail. On January 12, he is due to be arraigned in a Los Angeles court.
