Netflix has another comedy special up its sleeve. David Spade will debut his first-ever stand-alone comedy special titled ‘Nothing Special.’

The 57-year-old actor and comedian have already worked on multiple Netflix projects, he starred in movies like The Wrong Missy and The Do-Over, alongside his longtime friends and collaborators Nick Swardson in The Wrong Missy and Adam Sandlers in The Do-Over.

The comedy special is filmed in Minneapolis at the Pantages theater. Spade will serve as an executive producer with Marc Gurvitz, Alex Muray, and John Ryan. This event is going to be directed by Ryan Polito.

Spade has gained quite the name in the world for his Comic chops. He recently hosted The Netflix Afterparty, The Circle Afterparty, and Bachelor in Paradise. He also shared his hosting skills to comedy central, briefly hosting a late-night show called Lights Out with David Spade.

The stand-up comedy special will premiere on Netflix on April 26, 2022, globally. We don’t know how long it will be, but we can expect it to be at least one hour long.

The official logline of the special reads, “Hot off the beach from his guest hosting duties on Bachelor in Paradise, David Spade makes his Netflix comedy special debut with Nothing Personal. From sharing his disdain for carbs to his unique approach to turning down drugs, david Proves that no topic is off limits.”

Since we just met with this fantastic announcement by the streaming giant, we don’t have an official trailer to enjoy yet. We hope that it will soon be released in a week or so.
