The Hulu original Selena Gomez starrer is set to release its second season soon; the comedy series has been a highly anticipated release by the fans, they all want to know what happened in Acronis.

The show was renewed in 2021 December. Steve Martin and John Hoffman create the mystery-comedy series. It follows three neighbors who become bonded over a true-crime podcast. The trio finds themselves solving the murder of their fellow resident, Tim Kono, with their investigative wits and recording their own podcast in the process.

As season 2 of the series is still filming and expected to go on for a while, Gomez shared an off-screen set image with short and Martin on her Twitter last month. When the shooting wraps is still unclear. But we are speculating that the series will land on Hulu late this year.

The first season ended in a major cliffhanger that left the fans wanting more of the show. An official logline for next season is not out yet, but the creator Hoffman said, “Our trio is in the hot seat at the end of Season 1. They have to reckon with their relationship with Bunny in the days prior to what happens at the end of the season, and there’s a lot that went down. Mabel said some unkind things about her outside of the Acronia. Oliver had a long history of conflict with Bunny and Charles was deeply offended at the idea of being evicted by her after 30 years. There’s all that plus their connection to true crime and their respective histories, which we will learn more about. There’s a lot there we start peeling back that’s built around what happened at the end of Sesaon1 and leading into 2. It gets more complicated and more fun in weird ways. It also puts pressure on them to solve the case.”

The cast will include Selena Gomez as Mabel, Steve Martin as Charles, Martin Short as Oliver, Cara Delevingne as Alice, Amy Schumer, and Shirley MacLane, guest-starring in season 2.

The official trailer or final synopsis is not out yet, but we will keep an eye out for the details. Till then, stay tuned for more exciting updates.
