After grossing huge at the international box office, the creator has another traverse set to be released for the fans. ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home” offered much more than the audience had expected when it included the universes of all the three Peter Parkers (Toby Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland).
The overseas audiences loved the incarnations. On the one hand, No Way Home showed the three in the MCU universe. A teaser is made as a fake trailer for Ned’s Bogus plot, imagining one where Ned uses his magic abilities to travel to the other universes. The teaser contained old clips that place Ned in the universes where he witnesses Maguire’s Peter in his first wrestling match and Garfield’s Peter graduating from high school.
While No Way Home’s hangover still has not left the fans’ minds, the teaser made the audiences explore the two Parkers from different Universes at different points in their lives, which was refreshing. It surprised fans and gave the audience a pleasant experience.
The co-writer recently said in an interview that the last time the masses saw Andrew as Parker, it was the death of Gwen and the time he went down a dark spiral.
Chris McKenna added that the writers wanted to be true to the characters and had conversations discussing where they had gone all this time. This also included the actors’ take on what they wanted to show the viewers.
Revealing what the stars wanted, McKenna said that Tobey wanted a minimal story, and Andrew was in love with the idea that he was still tortured and stuck on what happened towards the end of the movie.
