Earlier this year, it was revealed that Ash and Pikachu’s journey in the Pokemon anime might end, with the pair departing as world champions. A completely new series has been revealed for Netflix, and there are plans for an anime for generation 9. This television show appears to be more interested in the Pokémon than the trainers.
The Pokemon Company issued a number of updates on February 27, 2023, about its next projects, including Pokemon Concierge, in honor of the “Pokemon Day” anniversary of the debut of their first game in 1996. The television show will focus on Pokemon taking a vacation, and it seems to happen in a beach resort that only welcomes Pokemon. The French animation studio Dwarf Studio will be in charge of producing it.
The news was accompanied by a teaser video for Pokemon Concierge. This little clip only includes a stop-motion cartoon Psyduck on a beach. However, the Psyduck and a human trainer are shown in the image that goes with the story. Fans could assume that the series would highlight a new Pokemon every week based on what they saw in the teaser or that Psyduck could potentially serve as the main character.
Synopsis of Pokémon Concierge
The stop-motion is unknown, but the streamer’s teasers have given us some information. The main focus of Pokémon Concierge will be Haru, a brand-new character in the franchise. In the Pokémon Resort, she works as a concierge. According to the synopsis, we will observe her interactions with various characters and their masters who stay at the resort as guests.
Pokémon Concierge’s release date
Netflix has not yet disclosed the upcoming series’ release date. All we currently know is that it will be “coming shortly.” Additionally, there are no updates on the number of episodes.
