Halloween is the favorite time of the year.. especially for children who love to dress up as their favorite characters. From flowers to astronauts, we can see every character on Halloween.

One character that every girl wants to be at least once in her lifetime is to be a princess or Queen.

And the same happened with a one-year-old from Ohio, Jalayne Sutherland. After getting dressed up in beautiful attire as the Monarch for Halloween last year, the parents decided to take pictures and send them to the palace.

The adorable one-year-old is dressed in a pastel purple outfit in the pictures, completing her Queen Elizabeth look with a white wig and matching accessories. Overall, the image stole many hearts.

The pictures reached the palace, and as intended, it caught the attention of Queen Elizabeth II. After watching the adorable snapshots and reading the letter, she decided to write back, surprising the parents.

According to the People Magazine, the Queen’s lady-in-waiting, the Hon. Mary Morrison was the one who wrote back the reply wishing the family with blessings.

As per the reports, the letter from the palace contained the following statements,
“The Queen wishes me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the photograph you thoughtfully enclosed, Her Majesty thought it kind of you to write to her, and The Queen was pleased to see the photograph of your daughter, Jayne, in her splendid outfit.”

The wishes continued further as Morrison wrote, “Her Majesty hopes you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I am enclosing a little information about the Royal Pets, which Jalayne might like to have.”

In the picture, Jalayne is seen posing with the two corgis, and the Queen’s love for the breed is known publicly.

In response to this beautiful surprise, the Sutherland family posted another picture of the toddler. She holds the royal letter proudly while posing for the camera dressed in the costume and white wig to complete the beautiful image.

Hence, Halloween not only brought pleasant surprises for the family but also brought smiles on the faces of Queen Elizabeth’s fans, who seemed to love her interaction with the little one.
