Ram Setu became Akshay Kumar’s best opening film this year after his films Raksha Bandhan, Bachchan Pandey, and Samrat Prithviraj failed to perform well at the box office. Ram Setu also features Nushrat Bharucha and Jacqueline Fernandez. Ram Setu took an excellent opening on October 25, along with Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God Film. However, Thank God’s box office numbers are not looking great.
Ram Setu gave a tough fight to Thank God, which was also released on the same date. Even though the Ram Setu garnered good numbers on its opening day collection, the collections declined gradually. On Day 9, Ram Setu collected Rs 2.20 cr. Hence, the total box office collection of Ram Setu would now stand at Rs 64.05 cr. Meanwhile, Ram Setu had an overall 8.52 per cent Hindi occupancy on November 2.
