Recent reports shed some light on Samsung’s selection of front cameras for next year’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ smartphones. And while the information has been reasonable in this case, there are rumors that the devices in question could be transported with upgraded selfie cameras. However, the same can’t be said for the telephoto lens on the rear.
It is also said that the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ will have the exact 10-megapixels resolution for the telephoto camera as the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+. It’s plausible that it will be 3x as it was this year, and it might very well be the same setup, including the exact sensor.
There’s no transparency on what the circumstance might be for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but it appears that the non-Ultra S flagships will have the same configuration for another year.
This is just an unconfirmed rumor at the time, and since there are several months left for the launch of these devices, even if this data is correct, Samsung could change its plans before launching the Galaxy S23 family.
If these plans work out, it is expected that the Korean company will have other updates regarding the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ aside from the higher resolution selfie camera.
