Sex Education is a popular Netflix original comedy-drama that debuted on the streaming platform on January 11th, 2019. The show follows the lives of the students, staff, and parents of the fictional Moordale Secondary School as they contend with various personal dilemmas, often related to sexual intimacy.

Since its release, the show has received a positive response from the audience. As of yet, it has broadcasted three seasons and has completed twenty-four episodes. It stands with an average rating of 8.10/10.
According to Netflix Top 10 global viewership, Sex Education was watched for over 447,750,000 hours between September 12th and October 24th, 2021. Fans have been eagerly waiting for season 4.

Sex Education primarily follows Otis Milburn, a student at Moordale Secondary School. Otis begins the series ambivalent about sex, partly because his single mother, Jean, is a sex therapist who frequently has affairs with male suitors but cannot maintain romantic relationships.

The announcement of its upcoming season has been made, but viewers have to wait quite a long time to go back to Moordale Secondary School. The expected date is expected to fall sometime in 2023 at the earliest.

The dates of season 4 definitely won’t be making an appearance in 2022. Many star cast is expected to make a comeback for another run. The list includes Gillian Anderson as Jean Milburn, Asa Butterfield as Otis, Emma Mackey as Maeve, Ncuti Gatwa as Eric, Connor Swindells as Adam, Aimee Lou Wood as Aimee, and Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson.

In season 4, Netflix is ready to launch two new trans characters, Abbi and Kent. Abbi is a young trans woman with a 90s Winona Ryder vibe who is confident and self-assured in her gender identity, and Kent is her boyfriend. He is trans-masculine, goofy, forgetful, and a great listener.

The production is scheduled to take place between April and November 2022. Unless things can be turned around in a month, 2022 seems impossible. For further updates, stay tuned.
