Will Forte, the former Saturday Night Live cast, recently made his hosting debut after 12 years and revived his famous MacGruber Character.

The 51-year-old actor and comedian are especially known for being a cast member on Saturday night live, which he joined in 2002 and left in 2010.
In his opening monologue, The star showed his disappointment in a sarcastic way for getting the opportunity to host SNL after such a long time.

Will said “I was in the cast 12 years ago with Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, and Fred Armisen,”
“So it was really fun to see Kristen host, then Bill, then Andy, then Fred, then Kristen again, then Bill again, then Jason.”

He continued, “Seth Meyers, he’s one of my best buds. But, come on! He wasn’t a sketch guy, he was just on Weekend Update. Does that even count as being on the show? But he hosted. John Mulaney was a writer when I was in the cast and he then hosted — four times, four times! But hey, that’s OK! You know, I’m not bitter about it.”

Save the best for last, right? Save the best for way last!” Forte added. “Look, after 12 long years, tonight, it’s finally my turn. My time to shine. Tonight, it’s all about me.”

Unfortunately, Will’s spotlight was crushed by one of his former castmates, Kristen Wiig’s surprise appearance during his monologue. The audience welcomed Kristen with massive applause, however, Will told her to leave without wasting any time.

“You know, I flew in for this,” Kristen said, to which Forte replied, “Great, so you know where the airport is.”

But Kirsten wasn’t the only surprise guest.
In another surprise, Will’s thunder was stolen by SNL creator, Lorne Michaels when he appeared in the audience with Spider-man: way back home’s star Willem Dafoe, who is also going to host next week’s SNL.

“I’m so sorry, Will, there’s been a mistake,” Michaels said.
“You think I would book someone named Will, then someone named Willem?” He added.

“But you texted me to come host, Lorne,” Forte said, to which Michaels replied, “I texted Willem, and you know, autocorrect.”

The Italian Rock Band “MÃ¥neskin”, winner of the 2021 Eurovision song contest also made an appearance as Musical guests for the episode, marking their debut on the show.

Moreover, In his opening act, Will revived his famous character, MacGruber with co-stars Kristen Wig and Ryan Phillipe.
