Squid Game was released on September 17, 2021, and this show got all attention in November 2021. It is the most-watched Netflix show, becoming the top-viewed show in 94 countries. It’s a huge hit series worldwide.

During a recent interview with KBS (The Korean Times), he revealed that squid Gameshow would be back super soon.

“I’m in talks with Netflix over season 2 as well as season 3,” he said. “We will conclude any time soon.”

“There’s been so much pressure, so much demand, and so much love for a second season,” he revealed. “So, I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently. But I do think it’s too early to say when and how that’s going to happen.”

This is a huge surprise for those who loved the show, waiting for more seasons, people are interested to see more, he even said, “I will promise you this, Gi-hun will come back,” he revealed. “He will do something for the world.”
