Del Rey Books is releasing this latest sci-fi novel set in a distant galaxy, far from June 28. It happened 17 years after “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi” and 13 years before “Star Wars: The Force Awakens, “Which is a time we have learned a little so far.
Here we are introduced to Rey’s parents, whom we have seen in the “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” scene, as they dive throughout the universe to protect their young daughter, Rey. This essential child is revealed in the following poem of the grandson of Darth Sidious, also known as Emperor.
As Luke Skywalker suffers from the disturbing visions of the Dark Side of the Force almost two decades after the End of the War, as well as the unpleasant presence of the dead Sith world of Exegol, the Jedi Master meets the well-spoken Lando Calrissian Lando peace. News of the Sith threat.
Lando was trying to find his kidnapped daughter without luck, and now he and Luke are trying to help Rey’s parents and their precious daughter as they flee from the killer Ochi of Bestoon (briefly seen in “The Rise of Skywalker”). Rey and his family belong to a Sith sect called Acolytes of the Beyond.
Their terrifying work will take them to Exegol to discover this new threat and learn why Luke is still plagued by unseen evils that call the rotten world a home.
