The Late Show with Stephan Colbert, the host, has addressed the behavior of talk show host Andy Cohen’s drunkenness on CNN’s New Years’ Eve Show.
Cohen and Anderson Cooper Were Co-host Of the CNN live show, where Cohen went a little too far, making very public comments on former New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio and Ryan Seacrest.
“Let me tell you something watching mayor Deblasio do his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York City. The only thing the democrats and republicans can agree on is that what a horrible mayor he has been so, sayonara sucker.” Andy commented while his co-host Anderson was continuously telling him, “don’t go on a rant” while Cohen was high.
Colbert said, “This year’s second-biggest medical headline is that scientists say there are no hangover cures which is terrible news for Andy Cohen.” In his Monologue of the Late Show.
“Usu, ally when someone gets that angry drunk on the live tv, they have to explain their behavior to Andy,” Stephen added.
However, the drunk host took Twitter to explain his actions on the show stating that he was “good morning. Um, I was a bit overserved last night” on the live show, even though he was making his drinks in the professional setup.
The late show host also joked on the twitter statement of the CNN new years eve show host about he being “overserved” on the live show saying, “you can’t blame the bartender when you were the bartender.”
The CNN control room didn’t help in the hectic situation on the screen. They were “duped” into airing tweets from fake troll accounts like @BenDover837, @Mikeoxlong625, and @DixieNormussss.
Colbert joked about wrapping up the whole hilarious incident together by stating, “Not to mention being pranked by the fakest name of all; Wolf Blitzer.”
