What is the plot of Carl Weber’s The Black Hamptons?

Carl Weber’s The Black Hamptons is a new four-part family drama set in the charming community of Sag Harbor, New York, nicknamed “The Black Hamptons.” Carl Weber, a New York Times best-selling author, created the original limited series.

The four episodes will “track the simmering animosity between the ‘Brittons’ and the ‘Johnsons,'” according to the show’s synopsis.

The book synopsis, on which the series is based, gives a few more details of the show. It reads:

When a plot of property in this exclusive neighborhood becomes available for purchase, it causes a feud between the Brittons and the Johnsons.” It’s old money vs. new money, and neither family appears eager to make a concession. Will their conflict derail any aspirations of a tranquil summer?
