The James Webb Telescope locks on to a star

For the first time, The James Webb Space Telescope’s key pointing instrument fixed on to a star. FGS (The Fine Guidance Sensor), a contribution from Honeywell on behalf of the CSA, will be used for aligning the telescope’s 18 hexagonal segments that make up the primary mirror.
SpaceX Starship delayed again

For at least another month, SpaceX’s Starship Mars rocket will not reach orbit. While SpaceX aims to launch that mission shortly after the United States FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) conducts an environmental assessment of Starship’s South Texas facilities, the Federal Aviation Administration has shifted the completion date again to March 28. On December 31, the initial review was set to be finished.
Astra rocket’s Florida launch fails
