An excellent way to start the New Year for The Weeknd and his fans, the singer has released a trailer for his upcoming new album Dawn FM.

The singer shared the whole tracklist in the trailer. The video doesn’t give complete insights into the project, but it was filled with mystery visuals, a rhyme in a heavy voice, and a snippet of the new music from the star.

The album is set to release on 7th January; the artist has released the cover art for his new album in which his face appears digitally aged, full of wrinkles and grey hair. Blinding Lights singer has a lot of new collaborations for the album, including Jim Carrey, Quincy Jones, Tyler the Creator, Lil Wayne, and Oneohtrix.

One of the collaborators, Carrey, tweeted, “I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night. It was deep and elegant, and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony.”
The 31-year old celebrated the moment that replied to the tweet, “Thank you for being a part of this. It’s kismet. Full circle.”

The artist also opened about his friendship with Jim carry in a GQ interview in august where he said, “He lived literally like two buildings down from me. He had a telescope, and I had a telescope. He was like, “Where do you live? What floor do you live on?” I was like, Blah blah blah. And we looked out the windows on our telescopes, and we could see each other.” he also shared how carry has surprised him on his birthday and took him for breakfast after.
