One of Riley Sager’s novels, which features female protagonists in a psychological thriller, may soon be turned into a Netflix movie! Although several of Sager’s books have been selected for adaptation, none have yet been realized, so let’s hope this one will be different. The author has written six books; The House Across the Lake was released in 2022. According to a report from Deadline, Netflix has acquired the rights to the film and is looking for Paul Feig to direct it. Netflix has signed a deal to adapt The House Across the Lake, a best-selling Riley Sager novel set in 2022, which Paul Feig could direct. The image will be created by Berlanti-Schechter Movies and Feigco, with Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Mike McGrath delivering for Berlnti, Feig, and Laura Fischer for Feigco.
Paul Feig Is Eying A Netflix Adaptation Of Riley Sager’s The House Across The Lake.
Feig would be a fantastic choice to direct the bestselling thriller fiction. Not only has he previously worked with Netflix (on The School for Good and Evil), but he’s directed other book-to-screen nail-biters like A Simple Favor. The film version of A Simple Favor was much better than the novel, so The House Across the Lake would be in competent hands.
What is The House Across the Lake about?
