A unique movie named Bigbug is coming to Netflix this Friday, Feb. 11, and we think this will be a good Netflix movie to watch this weekend with friends.

The big bug is a French science fiction film written and directed by Academy Award-nominated director Jean-Pierre Jeunet.

The movie stars Dominique Pinon, Elsa Zylberstein, Isabelle Nanty, Youssef Hajdi, Alban Lenoir, François Levantal, Claire Chust, Claude Perron, Marysol Fertard, and Helie That.

The big bug is set during 2045 in a quiet community where humans depend heavily on robots with domestic tasks. But things suddenly go south when the androids decide to stage an uprising and shut their masters up in their own homes. While the altercation group of suburbanites is stuck inside, an android uprising happens outside.

Big bug release time on Netflix, this upcoming Netflix movie will drop on the streamer on Feb. 11 at midnight. Pacific Time/3:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The sci-fi film has a 1 hour and 51 minutes runtime, so it’ll be a sharp watch. You’ll be on to the next movie before you know it.

The big bug is rated TV-MA, which is for mature audiences only, and it should not be viewed by anyone aged 17 and younger. There will most likely be scenes indicating sexual content, nudity, and violence. Also, dirty language will be used by some of the characters.

As you can tell by the trailer, there will also be enough crazy scenes that will have your stomach laughing. It’s an offbeat and quirky movie, and we approve of you checking it out.
