Zayn Malik has been in the news for a while due to his ongoing issues with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid and her mother, Yolanda Hadid.
This trio has been part of the headlines since his fight with Yolanda on September 29 at the family’s home outside Philadelphia. The 29-year-old singer has been accused of violence by the mother of his ex-girlfriend claiming that the singer “grabbed [Yolanda] and shoved her into a dresser, causing mental anguish and physical pain,”
This argument was made public when the case against him was known to his fans. The recent update of this is that the singer has entered into a plea to four summary counts of harassment Wednesday. In other words, the hitmaker is refusing to accept the charges, claiming he is not guilty yet is willing to accept the punishment.
According to the documents, “A judge sentenced him to 90 days of probation on each count, or nearly a year total. He must complete an anger management class, and be screened for and “if approved,” complete a domestic violence program. He was also ordered to have no contact with Yolanda Hadid or the man. Probation could be lifted in six months if Malik satisfies the conditions.”
Due to these reasons, the former One Direction singer has maintained a low profile so he can enjoy a little privacy in his personal life. He had even taken a short break from the social media platforms as his last post on his Instagram handle was dated December 10.
The singer is trying his best to give his daughter, Khai Hadid Malik a secure and relatively happy environment. In an interview with TMZ, Zayn had shared that he had not done what he was accused of and has been trying to refrain from saying anything further for the sake of his daughter.
He also said, “I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private,”
His fans have been supporting him throughout this and have been waiting for him to make a comeback. For Zayn’s fans, the good news has arrived as the singer finally broke his long hiatus and finally posted after a long time.
The Pillowtalk singer broke his silence with a single selfie. In the picture, he is supporting a full beard while being dressed in a black leather jacket. He completed the look with a pair of glasses. He hasn’t captioned the post.
This gave his fans hope that the singer might be getting back on track and hopefully, he will make his presence known with another of his posts.
